Any irregularities are inherent to the handcrafted process of this product, making it beautifully unique.
This silk and cotton scarf is entirely handmade by the women weavers of WomenWeave, in Maheshwar in Central India, a well-known weaving center. Women Weave is one of the few all-women weaving clusters in India with more than 500 weavers.

It is woven in the typical Maheshwari style of weaving, with a silk warp and a cotton weft which gives the fabric a lovely silky sheen.

WomenWeave helps local women lead better lives by ensuring that handloom weaving is a profitable, sustainable, fulfilling and dignified form of livelihood for them. The organization trains women and provides oppurtunites for skill enhancement to maximize their potential to generate income.
