handwoven khadi jamdani - blue-grey
This khadi "jamdani" scarf harkens back to a time of India's finery in muslins ("woven air") which were coveted throughout the world. In 2013, the traditional art of jamdani weaving was protected by Unesco as a form of intangible cultural heritage. Thanks to revivalists like the two sisters of Karomi Crafts who designed this scarf this technique is making a comback.
