    • Designed by well-known Indian designer Chelna Desai
    • Handwoven in Bhujodi, under by weavers skilled in a well-known extra-weft weaving technique, native to Bhujodi.
    • Handwoven (and partially handspun) in Kuchchh, Gujarat
    • Mid-weight, soft yet slubby handfeel 
    • Breathable and drapes well, making the scarf comfortable to wear
    • Gets softer with wear 
    • Kala cotton is a resilient crop and indigenous to Kuchchh, Gujerat. It is entirely rain-fed and grows without pesiticides or irrigation despite Kuchchh's arid desert climate. 
    • Because it is easy to grow, its revival is supporting farmers, spinners weavers and dyers in Kuchchh. 
    • Women are employed to spin the yarn.
