Dyed in madder (a root naturallly found in India), and crafted in a light, translucent cotton-silk fabric, this soft and breezy scarf is made by Zuber and Imran Khatri, proprietors of Zia Bandhani based in Kuchchh.

 

In addition to its enchanting and playful desert landscape, Kuchchh is a region steeped in a rich textile heritage, where artisans have honed their skills over generations, and where warm and lovely people welcome you into their homes.

  • Material: Cotton-Silk (a handwoven fabric known as chanderi, after the region in which the fabric is woven).

    To care for this handmade product, wash infrequently and only if necessary. Spot clean preferred. Do no rub, soak or use a steam iron. If you need to wash it, please hand-wash it separately in a mild detergent and cold water. Drip-dry in shade.
