This light and soft square cotton scarf  is handcrafted using a contemporary "ajrakh" style of blockprinting by designer Bhoomi Dani, co-founder of the Ahmedabad-based design studio Vraj:bhoomi. Together with expert ajrakh artisans in the Kutch region of India, Bhoomi and her team have re-imagined the ancient and traditional art of ajrakh, which dates back to the Indus Valley Civilization. Vraj:Bhoomi works with Juned Khatri, son of world-renowned ajrakh master artisan Ismail Khatri. Kutch is a region in Gujarat, India known for its rich textile tradition.

    Size: Square - 48" x 48" - can also be used as a light beach cover-up or sarong 

    Care: Cleaning Instructions: Hand wash separately in cold water. Do not dry in direct sunlight. Do not soak. Do not use fabric softeners or starch. In order to maintain the brilliance of the color, add a handful of salt to the first rinse.
