Two layers of vintage sari fabric were stitched together using the very fine embroidery "kantha" stitch to make this scarf. The hand-work was done by a women's co-operative in West Bengal. These scarves are sourced from the House of Wandering Silk, a New Delhi-based social enterprise. Their work with the women's co-operative guarantees regular emplment and provides a safe and flexible work environment.
