This light and soft square cotton scarf is handcrafted using a contemporary "ajrakh" style of blockprinting by designer Bhoomi Dani, co-founder of the Ahmedabad-based design studio Vraj:bhoomi. Together with expert ajrakh artisans in the Kutch region of India, Bhoomi and her team have re-imagined the ancient and traditional art of ajrakh, which dates back to the Indus Valley Civilization. Vraj:Bhoomi works with Juned Khatri, son of world-renowned ajrakh master artisan Ismail Khatri. Kutch is a region in Gujarat, India known for its rich textile tradition.
